Fountainhead® Tanz Theatre Berlin, Germany founders and directors, artists in residence IUSB, Donald and Gayle Griffith’s gift of two paintings by the Berlin artist Greg Perri, provide a lasting visual statement of support and affection for Indiana University South Bend and the city of South Bend and surrounding communities.

Gifts of art enrich the campus environment, providing inspiration and creative respite, allowing the viewer to pause and take mental, creative, and spiritual refuge in the color, forms, and subjects they present. The campus community and visitors discover art throughout the campus which demonstrates the importance of culture and aesthetics that, in spirit, connect us all. These gifts also demonstrate the lasting relationship with regional, national, and international donors.

Donald and Gayle Griffith’s generous gift is a significant addition to the ever growing collection of art that enriches the environment and inspires the human spirit in ways which are beyond measure.

Indiana University South Bend and the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts are grateful for the generosity and lasting relationship with these two very gifted and distinguished artists and educators.
