Lola goes through the pressures of the day, but she does her job without giving it much thought. She works as a telemarketing phone operator for a financial institution. From her tiny cubicle, she phones those who owe the company money to remind them that when it comes to payment there are no valid excuses. The telephone allows her to keep enough distance... but one day comes to a head, when she is left with no answer.
Lola erträgt den Druck des Tages, aber sie macht ihren Job, ohne viele Gedanken daran zu verschwenden. Sie arbeitet als Telemarketing-Telefonistin für ein Finanzinstitut. Aus ihrer winzigen Zelle heraus ruft sie diejenigen an, die dem Unternehmen Geld schulden, um sie daran zu erinnern, dass es bei Fälligkeit der Zahlungen keine Entschuldigungen gibt. Das Telefon ermöglicht es ihr, genügend Abstand zu halten... aber eines Tages spitzt sich die Lage zu, als sie keine Antwort erhält.
