In the wake of hurricane Katrina, a young couple, Rich and Jessica, attempt to reunite with Rich's father, Lou Robinson, but an ignorant and understaffed police department (combined with massive flooding and disorganization of a city in peril) conspire to make the reunion almost impossible.

In der Folge des Hurrikans Katrina versucht ein junges Pärchen, Rich und Jessica, Richs Vater, Lou Robinson, wiederzutreffen, aber eine ignorante und unterbesetzte Polizei (kombiniert mit heftigen Überschwemmungen und der Desorganisation einer Stadt in einer riskanten Lage) hat sich verschworen, um die Wiedervereinigung fast unmöglich zu machen.
