Gonzalo Vidal (1863-1946), Colombian composer, is known as the author of Medellín Anthem music. The docudrama is Vidal's monologue remembering his life two hours before leaving forever his beloved city Medellín. In 1876, when he was 13 years old, Gonzalo arrived to Medellín, where he lived for 65 years, without moving away from the city. He met his friends there, his children were born there and all his music, which contains more than 200 works, in its majority unknown by the public, was composed there. The docudrama is also a remembrance of the beautiful city of Medellín and his music is a hymn to its people.

Dieses Dokudrama ist ein Monolog Vidals, der sich zwei Stunden, bevor er seine geliebte Stadt Medellín für immer verlässt, an sein Leben erinnert. Im Jahr 1876, als er 13 Jahre alt war, kam Gonzalo nach Medellín, wo er 65 Jahre lang lebte, ohne je die Stadt verlassen zu haben. Hier traf er seine Freunde, hier wurden seine Kinder geboren und hier komponierte er seine Musik, die aus mehr als 200 Werken besteht, von denen die meisten der Öffentlichkeit nicht bekannt sind. Das Dokudrama ist auch ein Gedenken an die schöne Stadt Medellín und seine Musik ist eine Hymne an ihre Menschen.
