A young soccer player from New York is taken to a place he could have never imagined. There, in Ivory Coast, he learns that playing soccer means something more than to run towards the goal without paying attention to your fellow players.

Ein junger Fußballspieler aus New York wird an einen Ort gebracht, den er sich nie hätte vorstellen können. Dort in der Elfenbeinküste lernt er, dass Fußballspielen etwas mehr bedeutet, als mit dem Ball auf das Tor zuzulaufen, ohne auf seine Mitspieler zu achten.
