Statement: "I've been interested in light itself subject matter rather than just illumination. This work is about the sound of a hidden face in film by a sound generator I invented responding exactly to the film image. Strictly speaking, the film's voluntary twenty six frames' separation is between image and sound. I want to create them happening at the same time with 16mm film projection. To technically unmask, what I focused on is the generation of sound from the image by way of surgery on an optical sound reader built in a 16mm projector."

Erklärung: "Ich war an Licht als Thema selbst interessiert, statt nur an Beleuchtung. Diese Arbeit handelt vom Ton eines versteckten Gesichts im Film durch einen Soundgenerator, den ich genau so entwickelt habe, dass er auf das Bild im Film reagiert. Genau genommen, wollte ich die ersatzweise Trennung von Bild und Ton auf 26 Frames so gestalten, dass sie zur selben Zeit auf einer 16mm Projektion stattfinden. Um technisch das zu demaskieren, auf das ich mich konzentriere, handelt es sich um die Erzeugung von Ton durch das Bild durch eine Art Operation an einem optischen Tonleser, eingebaut in einen 16mm-Projektor.
